A contractor called Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to clear an area where saw cutting was to take place. The contractor needed to move the electrical panel to a new area. The main power coming into the building was under the slab on grade, and the contractor did not want to hit the power while saw cutting the slab. With the proper training, we were able to successfully determine the difference between the reinforcing, conduits and plumbing lines in the slab. GPRS was able to come in and mark directly on the surface the depth and location of the main power, conduits, and plumbing lines in real time. The engineer called us and was in a time crunch. Our schedule was already booked for the day he needed this done. After giving him the option to come in early, we came in early and we were able to assist him within 24 hrs. We here at GPRS know some jobs are a rush, and need to be done quickly with our Rapid Response program, we can assist most customers within 24 hours.
